BIO

Freelance upright and electric bassist and guitarist originally from Florence (Italy) and now based in Cambridge (UK). I started playing when i was 11 year old, and never stopped. I received a degree in jazz with full marks at the Music Conservatory “G.B. Martini” of Bologna (Italy). My background is jazz, my taste for music is eclectic.

I also hold a PhD in Mineralogy and I currently work as a research technician at the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Cambridge (UK). I regularly play at many venues in Cambridge with Cores Do Samba, the Alley Cats, the Andy Bowie Quartet, the Lucy Cavendish Singers, David Ellingham’s Fromage a Trois, and Roslin Russell’s R-Cubed and Groove Cortex. I have collaborated with many musicians, notably Michele Gori, Martin Hallmark’s Q3, Massimo “mc2” Ciolli, Mark Morley-Fletcher, Vicki Kenny, the Barefoot Doctors, Gianni Pantaleo, Riccardo Cardazzo, Taddeo & Sons, Veronica Fascione Quarteto, For Joy Gospel Choir, Ferdinando Olivieri, Drill’O’Matic Toy Band.
